Hiking is one of the best things you can do for your health. What better way to meet new friends, de-stress, connect with nature, and get into shape? Distance and elevation will gradually increase over six Monday mornings in January and February. This is Hike 3. All fitness levels welcomed. Meet in the parking lot. Registration is not required.

Bring your dog and join docent Anna Gateley-Staton for a walk in Blue Sky. Bring treats and water! Dogs must be leashed.

Join ecosystem scientist Susan Riha to learn about the role of rocks, water and soils in the formation of the landscape of Blue Sky and how this landscape relates to the habitats of Blue Sky.

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 9 - 9:00 AM. PRE-SUPER BOWL HIKE!

Join docent Eric Brewer on a hike through Blue Sky and around Lake Poway. Moderate 5.5 mi.

It’s the Great Backyard Bird Count this weekend. Join docent Celeste Larson to see how many winged residents we can find in our reserve. Two or three miles, easy pace.

Vernal equinox occurs at 2:01 am today! Come out and observe the seasonal changes in our habitat and enjoy some lovely vantage points on an interpretive hike from Blue Sky around Poway Lake with docent Celeste Larson. Moderate 5.5 mi.

Sunday, March 30- 6:00 AM. Blue sky annual bird count
