Bring your dog and join docent Anna Gateley-Staton for a walk in Blue Sky. Bring treats and water! Dogs must be leashed.

Learn about native plants on this 1-mile hike. Naturalist Carol Simpson will identify some of the many plants found in Blue Sky Ecological Reserve and how they were used by the native people of this area, the Kumeyaay.

Vernal equinox occurs at 2:01 am today! Come out and observe the seasonal changes in our habitat and enjoy some lovely vantage points on an interpretive hike from Blue Sky around Poway Lake with docent Celeste Larson. Moderate 5.5 mi.

Many animals rely on each other to survive. Whether it's for protection or for help gathering food, it's clear that they are better together. Learn about animals that live or work in groups, brush up your artistic talents with a craft, and look for animal teamwork in action on a hike in the Reserve. Limited to 24 children. An adult must accompany their child. Register at poway.org/classes. $4 per child.
Sunday, March 30- 6:00 AM. Blue sky annual bird count
Sign up at friendsofblueskycanyon@gmail.com. Everyone is very welcome and no experience is needed. Our leaders need assistance spotting and counting!
