2024 Walk n’ Talk Series
Saturday, April 13- 6:30, 6:45, 7:00, and 7:15 pm. Solar walk & Stargazing
Travel through Blue Sky and learn about the planets in our solar system. Join astronomers with their powerful telescopes so that you can experience our nighttime skies up close. Suitable for all ages. Limited to 25 participants per time slot. $5 per person. Register at poway.org/classes.

This is part of the Friends of Blue Sky Walk n’ Talk Series. Attend all 5 hikes in 2024 (June 8, September 21, and November 12 upcoming) and you will receive a Friends of Blue Sky patch!

Join us for routine maintenance of the Torretto Trail. No experience needed and fun guaranteed! Just bring your garden gloves; we’ll provide water and snacks.

Sunday, may 5- 8:00 am. canines unite
Join Blue Sky docents on an easy trail hike for you and your dog(s). Enjoy a chance to socialize with other hikers and their canine companions. Don’t forget your leash, treats, and plenty of water for you and your furry friend.

Attention all dogs! Bring your human and join docent Anna Gately-Stanton for a walk in Blue Sky. Don‘t forget your leash, treats, and plenty of water!

SAturday, June 15- 8:00 AM. lake romona power walk
Get your cardio on! Join docent Eric Brewer for a quick-paced hike through Blue Sky Canyon and a determined climb up the steep incline to beautiful Lake Ramona. Don’t worry, we won’t leave anyone behind, but having a reasonably good fitness level is recommended. It’s 4.6 miles round trip. Don’t forget to bring water.
THURSDAY, JUNE 20 - 7:00 am. SUMMER SOLSTICE
Summer officially arrives this afternoon but you can get an early morning start on the season at Blue Sky. Join docent Celeste Larson for an interpretive hike thru the reserve and around Poway Lake, about 5.5 miles.
