Unless otherwise indicated, all events are free and open to the public and begin at Blue Sky parking lot. Bring your own water as there is no drinking water available in Blue Sky.

SATURDAY, April 4- 8:00 TO 10:00 AM. SPRING DISCOVERY TABLE
Spring is the season of renewal and a time when nature wakes up from her winter slumber and provides us a dazzling display of wildflowers. Visit with us at the kiosk on the main trail for more information on spring at Blue Sky!
sunday, april 19- 6:30 or 7:00 am. Spring bird count
Join us for our annual Blue Sky bird count. Some bird identification ability is helpful but not necessary. We monitor several locations. Start time at Blue Sky parking lot is either 6:30 am or 7:00 am depending on location. We will gather again at 10:00 am to tally results and enjoy refreshments. saturday, april 25- 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Torretto trail maintenance
Our Torretto Trail needs some care - trimming brush and cleaning signage. We are looking for volunteers to help and would love your support. No experience is required - just a willingness to help. Sunday, april 26- 8:00 AM. wildflower hike
Our early rains looked promising and gave hope of a dazzling wildflower display. With these 90+ deg days in March, many wildflowers quickly passed their prime, some decided not to make an appearance at all, and some sun worshippers are just beginning to bloom. Let’s meet at the bench shelter in the parking lot and together let's see what we can find.
saturday, may 30- 1:30-4:30PM. From roots to tree tops
Kids ages 4 to 10 - come explore, learn and celebrate the amazing world of trees. Join us for hands-on activities and outdoor exploration. This event is limited to 25 kids. To register, email us at friendsofblueskycanyon@gmail.com.

Join us for a hike to learn about trees at Blue Sky. After the hike, stop by our discovery table where you will find information about Blue Sky’s plants and animals.
