october 29 - November 30. seasons of blue sky: through a photographer’s lens

Photographers Susan and Bob Hill have been regular visitors to Blue Sky for more than 30 years.  In their own words, “Blue Sky is a rare pocket of protected habitat, where chaparral, riparian corridors, and oak woodlands converge. This body of work is not only about beauty, but about presence and preservation. Blue Sky reminds us of what remains when open spaces are protected - habitats for wildlife, sanctuaries for reflection, and living landscapes that hold the memory of time. Our photographs aim to honor this space and encourage viewers to consider the importance of safeguarding such ecological reserves for future generations. Our ongoing photographic study of Blue Sky Ecological Reserve is an exploration of the quiet resilience and fragile beauty of this unique Southern California landscape”
